Red Lobster Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

  • 24 large white mushrooms, stems removed
  • 6 oz crab meat
  • 0.5 cup celery, diced
  • 0.3 cup onion, diced
  • 0.3 cup green pepper, diced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 0.5 cup shredded white Cheddar cheese
  • 0.3 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 egg

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 400°F. Sauté celery, onion, and pepper in butter 2 minutes; cool in refrigerator.

    Finely chop half the mushroom stems; discard rest.

    Combine sautéed vegetables, chopped stems, crab meat, cheese, garlic powder, Old Bay, salt, pepper, and egg; mix well.

    Place mushroom caps in buttered baking dishes; spoon stuffing into each cap; top with a slice of white Cheddar.

    Bake 12–15 minutes until cheese is lightly browned.
