Red Lobster Cheese Biscuits

Copycat Red Lobster Cheddar Bay Biscuits — drop biscuits made with Bisquick and fresh cheddar, baked until golden, then brushed with garlicky herb butter.

  • 20 oz Bisquick baking mix
  • 3 oz shredded cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
  • 11 oz cold water
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted (for topping)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (for topping)
  • 0.3 tsp salt (for topping)
  • 1/8 tsp onion powder (for topping)
  • 1/8 tsp dried parsley (for topping)

Instructions

    Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Add Bisquick and cheddar cheese to a mixing bowl. Add cold water and blend until dough is firm.

    Using a small scoop or spoon, drop dough onto the prepared baking pan.

    Bake 10–12 minutes until golden brown.

    While biscuits bake, combine melted butter, garlic powder, salt, onion powder, and dried parsley.

    Brush the garlic butter topping over biscuits as soon as they come out of the oven. Serve warm.
