Racetrack Barbecue Sauce

  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp. horseradish
  • 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
  • 1 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. fresh ground pepper

Instructions

    Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.

    Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
