Pyracantha Jelly

  • 2 pint pyracantha berries
  • 2 pint water
  • 1 each lemon
  • 1 each grapefruit
  • 1 package Sure-Jell®
  • 0 cup granulated sugar

Instructions

    Boil berries in water for 20 minutes.

    Drain and measure juice.

  3. 3

    Add juice of lemon and grapefruit.

  4. 4

    There should be 4 1/2 cups of combined juices.

  5. 5

    Add 1 package of Sure-Jell® to juices and bring to a boil.

  6. 6

    Boil for 1 minute and then add sugar.

  7. 7

    Boil to jell, about 2 minutes at a rolling boil.

  8. 8

    Pour into prepared sterilized jars, then seal.
