Potato Crust Casserole
Ground beef and stewed tomatoes with green beans simmered in a pan and transferred to a casserole, topped with mashed potatoes and cheddar cheese until golden and bubbly.

- 1 lb hamburger
- 14 0.5 oz canned stewed tomatoes with garlic and onion
- 14 0.5 oz canned green beans, drained
- 3 cup mashed potatoes
- 1 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 0 salt and pepper to taste

Brown beef in a 2-quart pan; season with salt and pepper. Drain.

Add drained green beans and un-drained tomatoes. Simmer slowly for 15 minutes.

Add 1 cup of cheese; stir to combine.

Place meat mixture in casserole dish. Arrange mashed potatoes on top; sprinkle remaining cheese.

Bake at 350°F until cheese melts and potatoes begin to brown slightly, about 25 minutes.
