Poached Salmon Sauteed Tuna
Pan-sautéed fresh tuna fillets in olive oil with garlic, fresh ginger, dried tomatoes, and optional hot red pepper. Magnificent when made with fresh fish.

- 14 oz fresh tuna fillets (2 x 7 oz)
- 3 tbsp olive oil (from dried tomatoes)
- 4 clove garlic, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, chopped
- 2 tbsp dried tomatoes
- 0.5 tsp dry hot red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions

Marinate tuna in olive oil for a few moments.

Heat the olive oil in a 9-inch pan over medium-high heat.

Add chopped garlic, fresh ginger, and dried tomatoes; move to the sides of the pan.

Cook the tuna about 4 minutes each side until cooked through but still moist.

Serve with the ginger, garlic, tomatoes, and oil over the fish.
