  • 6 oz Canadian bacon, sliced
  • 9 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 0.5 cup water
  • 0.8 cup onion, chopped
  • 3/8 cup mushroom pieces
  • 3/8 cup black olives, pitted and chopped
  • 3/8 cup celery, chopped
  • 3/8 cup green bell pepper, chopped
  • 0.5 tsp dried oregano
  • 0.3 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt, or to taste
  • 3 cup elbow macaroni, cooked

Instructions

    Fry the Canadian bacon in a skillet; drain and cut away any fat. Cut into bite-sized pieces.

    In a large pot, heat the tomato sauce and water to a boil.

    Add the Canadian bacon, onion, mushrooms, olives, celery, green pepper, oregano, garlic powder, and salt.

    Cook over medium heat until the vegetables are tender, about 15–20 minutes.

    Add the cooked elbow macaroni and stir to combine.

    Reheat to serving temperature and ladle into bowls. Serve immediately.
