  • 1 cup warm water (105°F)
  • 2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 0.5 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 0.8 cup cake flour
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.3 tsp active dry yeast
  • 21 oz canned pie filling (cherry, apple, or blueberry)
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour (for crumb topping)
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar (for crumb topping)
  • 0.5 cup quick oats (for crumb topping)
  • 0.5 cup firm butter (for crumb topping)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon (for crumb topping)
  • 2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 3 tbsp milk (for glaze)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter (for glaze)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)

Instructions

  1. 1

Mix yeast and warm water; let proof 3 minutes. Add to remaining crust ingredients in a large bowl and knead 10 minutes. Cover and let rise 12 hours (overnight).

  2. 2

Preheat oven to 500°F (260°C). Roll dough on a floured surface to fit a 16-inch pizza pan. Transfer to pan and form dough to edges.

  3. 3

Brush with vegetable oil and prick with a fork. Prebake 3 minutes.

  4. 4

Remove from oven and spread pie filling evenly over crust.

  5. 5

Mix crumb topping: combine flour, brown sugar, oats, butter, and cinnamon with a fork until crumbly. Spoon over pie filling.

  6. 6

Return to oven; bake 10–15 minutes until crust is light golden brown. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm pizza. Slice and serve.
