- 1 large green bell pepper, diced
- 1 large onion, diced
- 2 oz butter
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 lb assorted pasta (wheels, shells, spirals, ziti)
- 0.5 lb pepperoni, sliced thin, halved
- 8 oz shredded mozzarella
- 0.5 lb ground beef, browned and drained
- 0.5 lb Italian sausage, browned and drained
- 24 oz jar meat-flavored pasta sauce

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease an 11×13-inch casserole dish.

Melt butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté onions, bell pepper, and garlic powder about 4 minutes until softened.

Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.

Heat pasta sauce and stir in cooked beef and sausage.

Layer in prepared dish: half the pasta, half the sautéed vegetables, half the pepperoni, half the meat sauce. Repeat layers.

Spread mozzarella evenly over the top.

Bake about 45 minutes until cheese is melted and casserole is bubbly.
