Pimento Cheese Dip

  • 1 each - 4 oz. can pimientos, chopped and oil reserved
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.3 cup Durkee’s hot sauce
  • 1 tbsp Dijon style mustard
  • 1/8 tsp cayenne
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/3 cup freshly chopped parsley
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 0.5 each lb. grated mild cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 each lb. grated processed American cheese

Instructions

    Combine all ingredients except cheeses.

    Add grated cheeses and mix well.

    Moisten with reserved pimiento oil.

  4. 4

    Chill overnight to ripen flavor.
