- 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Instructions

Prepare the dough up to 3 days in advance and refrigerate, or freeze for up to 3 months.

Make the bottom crust and line your pan.

Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to 1/8-inch (3 mm) thick.

Use your rolling pin to help transfer the pie crust to the pie dish.

Carefully roll one end of the circle of dough gently onto the rolling pin, rolling it back towards you, slowly peeling it off the work surface as you go.

Pick it up, and carefully roll it back out over the top of the pie dish.

Bake according to your pie or galette recipe instructions.
