Old Bay Crab Cakes

- 2 count slices bread, crusts removed
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 lb backfin crab meat
- 1 count egg, beaten
- 0.3 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp oil for frying

Break bread into small pieces and moisten with milk. Let stand a few minutes.

In a large bowl, combine the moistened bread, crab meat, beaten egg, salt, Old Bay seasoning, baking powder, parsley, Worcestershire sauce, and mayonnaise. Mix gently until just combined.

Shape mixture into 8 patties, about 1/2-inch thick.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry crab cakes quickly until golden brown on each side, about 3 minutes per side.
