- 3 lb corned beef brisket
- 6 whole carrots, halved lengthwise
- 6 whole potatoes, halved lengthwise
- 1 head medium cabbage, cut into wedges
- 6 whole turnips, quartered
- 3 cup water

Place corned beef and water in Crock Pot. Cover and set on high.

When steaming vigorously, set to medium and continue cooking 2½ hours.

Remove meat from cooker.

Put potatoes, turnips, carrots, and cabbage in the cooker. Place meat on top of vegetables.

Cover; when mixture is steaming briskly, set to medium.

Cook for 45 more minutes until vegetables are tender. Slice corned beef and serve with vegetables.
