Navy Bean Soup
A classic navy bean soup simmered all day with a ham bone and jalapeños, served with chopped tomato and onion.

- 1 lb navy beans
- 1 large onion
- 2 small jalapeño peppers (optional)
- 1 large ham bone
- 3 quart water (about)
- 1 chopped tomato and onion, for serving

Place beans, ham bone, onion, and jalapeños (if using) in a crockpot.

Add about 3 quarts of water. Simmer all day on high (3–4 hours on stovetop over low heat).

Adjust seasoning to taste.
