  • 3 lb chuck roast, 1.5-inch thick
  • 1 package dry mushroom soup mix
  • 1 tbsp dried minced onions
  • 1 cup red wine or water

    Trim excess fat from roast.

    Combine dry soup mix and dried onions on foil; roll roast in mixture to coat well.

    Place coated roast in crockpot; pour wine or water over.
