Monkey Bread

Pull-apart sweet cinnamon bread made from frozen bread dough pieces rolled in butter and cinnamon sugar, baked in a bundt pan.

  • 2 loaves frozen white bread dough, thawed
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon

Instructions

    Thaw bread dough overnight in refrigerator. When soft, use kitchen scissors to cut into 1-inch pieces.

    Dip each piece in melted butter, then roll in the sugar/cinnamon mixture until coated.

    Layer evenly in a bundt pan. Cook at the temperature recommended on dough packaging for about 1 hour until golden brown and firm on top.

    Remove from oven and flip over onto a larger platter. Let sit with pan on top for a few minutes while the sweet mixture runs down the bread.

    To eat, pick apart like monkeys.
