  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 0.3 cup chopped scallions
  • 0.3 cup Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 3 tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb Italian-style bread, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 0.3 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cup shredded mozzarella, divided
  • 3 cup spaghetti sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 clove garlic, minced

    Preheat oven to 400°F (205°C).

    Combine scallions, bread crumbs, Parmesan, and ground beef. Roll into 1-inch meatballs and place in a baking pan.

    Bake meatballs 15–20 minutes until cooked through. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F (175°C).

    Arrange bread cubes in a single layer in an ungreased 9×13-inch baking dish.

    Beat cream cheese, mayonnaise, Italian seasoning, and black pepper until smooth. Spread over bread cubes.

    Sprinkle ½ cup mozzarella over the cream cheese layer.

    Mix spaghetti sauce, water, and garlic in a bowl. Gently stir in meatballs. Pour over the bread layer.
