Classic Midwestern community pot luck dish of ground beef, macaroni, corn and stewed tomatoes in tomato soup, topped with American cheese slices. Simple, hearty and beloved.

  • 1 lb dry macaroni
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 10 0.8 oz tomato soup
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 14 oz canned corn, drained
  • 14 oz canned tomatoes
  • 0 ketchup or salsa to taste (optional)
  • 0 salt and pepper to taste
  • 0 slices of American cheese

Instructions

    Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain.

    Brown ground beef and onion; drain.

  3. 3

    Combine all ingredients in a casserole dish. Top with cheese slices.

    Bake at 325°F for 30 minutes.
