  • 5 lb tiger shrimp (31-40 count)
  • 4 count lemons, cut in half
  • 2 count artichokes, cut lengthwise
  • 4 count yellow onions, quartered
  • 12 count red-skinned potatoes
  • 4 count ears fresh corn, cut into thirds
  • 1 count whole garlic clove, cut in half lengthwise
  • 4 oz liquid crab boil
  • 5 0.2 oz Old Bay Seasoning (two 2.62-oz bottles)

Instructions

    Add liquid crab boil and Old Bay Seasoning to 8 quarts of water in a large pot and bring to a boil.

    Add lemons, onions, potatoes, corn, artichokes, and garlic to the boiling water.

    Boil for 20 minutes until potatoes are tender.

    Add shrimp and boil for an additional 2 to 3 minutes until shrimp turn pink.

    Turn off the stove and let stand for 15 to 20 minutes to allow flavors to meld.

    Drain and spread on a newspaper-covered table or large platter. Serve immediately.
