LEMON POPCORN

  • 0.5 each C. vegetable oil
  • 0.8 each C. popping corn
  • 2 each T. lemon juice
  • 2 each T. melted butter

Instructions

    In a large heavy pot, heat oil over high heat until the oil smokes.

    Add 1 kernel popping corn and heat until kernel pops.

  3. 3

    Add rest of popping corn, cover pot, and shake gently until corn starts to pop.

  4. 4

    Shake vigorously until popping subsides.

    Remove from heat.

    Mix lemon juice with melted butter.

  7. 7

    Toss popcorn with lemon zest, salt, and butter/lemon juice.
