Italian Shells Casserole
Party-sized Italian shells casserole layered with ground beef in spaghetti sauce, sour cream, provolone and mozzarella cheese. Serves a crowd and is even better reheated.

- 2 lb medium-size pasta shells
- 1 tsp salt
- 16 oz sour cream
- 16 oz provolone cheese, sliced
- 2 lb ground beef
- 3 quart spaghetti sauce
- 0.5 tsp pepper
- 24 oz shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions

Cook shells; rinse, drain and set aside.

Brown ground beef; add salt, pepper and spaghetti sauce. Simmer for 20 minutes.

Spray a deep lasagna pan or large casserole with nonstick spray.

Line with half the shells. Cover with half the meat sauce. Spread half the sour cream over it; cover with half of both cheeses.

Repeat for a second layer.

Cover with lid or foil and bake at 350°F for 40 minutes. Uncover and bake 20 minutes more.
