- 2 can Italian plum tomatoes
- 2 small can tomato sauce
- 0.3 cup olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, crushed
- 0.3 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp black pepper
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a saucepan; add garlic and onion and sauté until onions are translucent.

Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, basil, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Cook slowly over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Serve over your favorite pasta with grated Parmesan.
