Italian Chicken (Slow Cooker)

Chicken pieces coated in a Parmesan-flour crust, slow-cooked over zucchini with mushrooms, chicken broth, and paprika — an Italian-inspired weeknight dinner.

  • 1 whole frying chicken, cut into pieces
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 0.3 cup flour
  • 0.5 tsp salt
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 cup chicken stock
  • 4 oz mushrooms, drained
  • 2 zucchini, sliced into medium pieces

Instructions

    Sprinkle chicken with seasoned salt. Mix flour, salt, pepper, Parmesan, and paprika; coat chicken.

    Place zucchini in bottom of crockpot. Arrange chicken on top.

    Add chicken stock and mushrooms.

    Cover and cook on LOW 6–8 hours.
