Italian Beef Stew

- 2 0.5 lb beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 whole carrots, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 1 whole large onion, thinly sliced
- 28 oz canned whole tomatoes, cut up
- 2 cup water
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 0.5 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tsp instant beef bouillon
- 1 cup uncooked penne or rigatoni pasta

Brown beef in slow cooker on stovetop or in a skillet; transfer to slow cooker.

Add carrots, onion, tomatoes, water, salt, Italian seasoning, and beef bouillon.

Stir to combine. Cover and cook on low for 7 to 9 hours.

Increase heat to high. Add pasta and stir to blend.

Cover and continue cooking for 30 minutes, until pasta is tender.
