  • 4 large fresh tomatoes, sliced 1/4-inch thick
  • 16 oz fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced 1/4-inch thick
  • 0.3 cup fresh whole basil leaves, packed
  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 0.3 cup imported olives
  • 1 tsp fine sea salt to taste
  • 0.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper to taste

Instructions

    On a large serving platter, alternately arrange tomato slices, mozzarella slices and fresh basil leaves, overlapping each slightly.

    Drizzle evenly with extra virgin olive oil.

    Sprinkle with fine sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.

    Garnish with imported olives and serve immediately at room temperature.
