- 8 Apples, green pippin are best
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 Teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 Tablespoons whole wheat flour
- 3/4 Cup raisins
- Apple juice

Cut apples into 1-inch chunks that are between 1/4 and 1/2 inch thick.

Cover the baking dish and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the apples are bubbling.

Uncover and bake for 10 to 15 more minutes, or until the apples are tender and the topping is golden brown and lightly crisp.
