  • 1 gallon cucumber slices
  • 4 each to 5 onions
  • 0.3 cup salt
  • 4 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 cup vinegar
  • 0 tsp celery seed
  • 0 tsp mustard seed
  • 0 tsp turmeric

Instructions

    Allow cucumber slices, onions and salt to set for 1 hour; drain.

    Heat (do not boil) sugar, vinegar, celery seed, mustard seed and turmeric.

    Pour over cucumbers.

    Cool, then refrigerate.
