Hot Bacon Slaw

- 4 slice bacon, chopped
- 0.5 cup chopped onion
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 0.3 cup vinegar
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 4 cup shredded cabbage
Instructions

Cook bacon until crisp. Remove and set aside.

To the bacon fat in the pan, add onion, sugar, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine.

Add shredded cabbage. Cook uncovered over medium heat for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Transfer to a serving dish and crumble bacon on top. Serve warm.
