Hash Brown and Pork Chop Casserole

- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10.75 oz)
- 0.5 cup milk
- 0.5 cup sour cream
- 0.5 tsp seasoned salt
- 0.3 tsp black pepper
- 24 oz frozen hash browns, thawed
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
- 2 0.7 oz French-fried onions, divided
- 4 bone-in pork chops (about 6 oz each)
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large bowl, combine soup, milk, sour cream, seasoned salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Stir in hash browns, ½ cup Cheddar, and half the French-fried onions. Spoon into a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Brown pork chops in hot oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, about 2 minutes per side.

Arrange browned pork chops on top of potato mixture.

Cover with foil and bake 40 minutes.

Uncover, top with remaining ½ cup Cheddar and remaining French-fried onions. Bake uncovered 5 minutes more until cheese melts.
