Grits Casserole

Savory Southern baked grits loaded with sharp cheese, butter, Worcestershire and eggs. A classic brunch or side dish with a golden crust.

  • 1 cup grits
  • 4 cup water
  • 0.5 cup margarine
  • 0.8 lb sharp cheese, grated
  • 1 tbsp seasoned salt
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 large eggs, well beaten

Instructions

    Cook grits in water for 15 minutes.

    Add margarine, cheese, seasoned salt, Worcestershire sauce and beaten eggs; mix well.

    Pour into a greased casserole dish.

    Bake uncovered at 400°F for 30 minutes.
