  • 2 tbsp fresh garlic, minced
  • 0.3 cup sesame seeds
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 cup apricot preserves
  • 8 oz hoisin sauce
  • 2 lb large shrimp, cleaned
  • 2 tbsp garlic, minced (for marinade)
  • 1/8 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil

    Make glaze: heat 1 tbsp oil; sauté garlic, sesame seeds, and ginger 2 minutes. Stir in apricot preserves and hoisin. Simmer on low heat.
