  • 1 1/2 cups of sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 5 teaspoons of grated lemon rind
  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 5 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons of butter

    Layer the sliced green tomatoes into the unbaked pie shell, sprinkling each layer with the mixture of the other ingredients.
