- 1 0.5 cup granulated sugar
- 0.5 cup milk
- 3 cup grated raw sweet potatoes
- 2 large eggs
- 0.5 cup margarine
- 0.8 cup buttermilk
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- 0.5 cup pecans
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon

Mix sugar and milk in large bowl; add grated sweet potatoes.

Beat eggs; add butter. Combine two mixtures.

Add buttermilk, baking soda, pecans and cinnamon; mix well.

Pour into 2-quart casserole and bake for 1 hour at 450°F.
