Geezer Taco Pie Dutch Oven Stroganoff

  • ground beef
  • 2 lb boneless sirloin, cut into 2 x 1/2in strips
  • corn tortillas
  • 1 cup flour
  • tomato puree

  • 1 medium onion, chopped 1 large onion, sliced

Instructions

    Brown ground beef with onions and drain. Combine 1/4 tsp paprika

    taco sauce, tomato puree, red pepper, cumin, and 1/2 cups olive oil

    green chilies. Line Dutch oven with aluminum foil. 1/2 lb fresh mushrooms, sliced

    Place 2 tortillas in oven. Pour 1/2 of ground beef, 2 packages brown gravy mix

    then 1/2 sauce mixture on top of tortillas. Place 2

    more tortillas on Atop and pour in rest of beef and Mix flour, salt, and pepper in small pot. Coat meat

    sauce mixture. Top with cheese. Cover and bake with mixture and brown in Dutch oven in olive oil.

    until cheese is melted. Stir in broth, Worcestershire, water, bay leaves, and

    paprika. Bring to simmer. Cook for 1 -1 1/2 hours or

    until meat is almost tender. Add mushrooms.
