Fruit Nut Dressing Casserole

Festive stuffing casserole with dried plums, almonds, celery, apple, cranberries, onion and chardonnay. Buttery and fragrant, ideal as a Thanksgiving or holiday side.

  • 6 oz seasoned stuffing mix
  • 0.5 cup dried plums (prunes)
  • 0.5 cup chopped almonds
  • 0.5 cup chopped celery
  • 0.5 cup chopped apple
  • 0.5 cup sweet dried cranberries
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup chardonnay wine or apple juice

Instructions

    Combine stuffing, dried plums, almonds, celery, apple, cranberries and onion with melted butter; stir wine in gradually.

    Spoon into a greased 2½ or 3-quart casserole dish.

    Bake covered at 350°F for 30 minutes.

    Remove cover and bake 5-10 minutes longer for a crisper top.
