Fried Egg And Ham Sandwich

  • 8 slice white sandwich bread
  • 4 tbsp butter, at room temperature
  • 4 large eggs
  • 0.5 lb sliced pre-cooked ham
  • 0.3 lb sliced yellow cheddar cheese
  • 8 slice fresh tomatoes

Instructions

    Butter both sides of each slice of bread with 2 tablespoons of the butter.

    In a sauté pan over medium heat, melt the remaining butter. When melted, crack each egg into the pan, keeping them separated. Season eggs with salt and pepper.

    Pan-fry the eggs for 2 to 3 minutes until the whites are set but yolks remain slightly runny, or cook to desired doneness.

    Layer the ham, cheese, and egg between two slices of bread.

    Add tomato slices and serve immediately.
