Fresh Artichokes (Slow Cooker)
Whole artichokes halved and steamed in the slow cooker with lemon slices, served with a simple lemon-butter dipping sauce.

- 2 large fresh artichokes
- 6 cup hot water
- 4 slice lemon, thin slices
- 0.3 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 0.3 tsp seasoned salt

Cut about 1 inch off top of each artichoke; cut off stem near base. Trim 1/2 inch off each leaf tip with scissors.

Halve each artichoke vertically; scoop out and discard the fuzzy choke.

Place halves in slow cooker with hot water and lemon slices. Cover and cook on LOW 6–8 hours.

Serve with lemon-butter dipping sauce (melted butter + lemon juice + seasoned salt).
