Favorite Meatloaf

  • 0 lb lean ground beef
  • 0.5 lb ground sausage
  • 1/3 each -1/2 package seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 each -2 eggs
  • 1 each -2 tablespoon milk
  • 0.3 cup ketchup
  • 1 each finely chopped onion
  • 0.5 each finely chopped green pepper
  • 1 clove garlic, pressed and finely chopped
  • 1 each -2 tablespoons steak sauce
  • 1 each -2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 each -2 cups grated cheddar cheese
  • 4 each -6 slices uncooked bacon

Instructions

    Mix everything together (except the bacon) until uniformly blended.

    Shape into a loaf and place in a large loaf pan or baking dish.

    Lay the bacon side by side lengthwise on top of the meatloaf.

  4. 4

    Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 350F for 1 hour.

  5. 5

    Then uncover and bake an additional half hour.
