- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup wheat bran
- 1/3 cup oat bran
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 2 tbsp. molasses
- 1/2 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1 cup grated carrots

Preheat oven to 400F.

Sift together flours, brans, sugar, baking powder and cinnamon.

Mix egg, milk, butter and molasses.

Stir in raisins, seeds, and carrots.

Fold wet ingredients into dry ingredients until just blended. Do not overmix.

Spoon mixture into greased muffin pans or paper cups.

Bake for 25 minutes.

Cool before removing from pan.
