Easy Strawberry Cake

  • 1 box white cake mix plus 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/3 cups of frozen strawberries
  • 1 small package strawberry Jell -O
  • 2/3 cup of vegetable oil
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 stick butter, softened
  • 3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions

    Thaw strawberries at room temperature.

    Drain and reserve juice for frosting.

  3. 3

    Mix cake mix, flour, Jell -O, cooking oil, water and eggs until well mixed.

    Pour into a 9 X 13 inch pan.

    Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes.

    Set pan on wire rack to cool.
