Dirty Bag Shrimp

Steamed shell-on shrimp tossed in a paper bag with a bold Cajun spice blend — shake it like Shake 'n Bake and get your hands dirty. Serve with lemon wedges.

  • 1 lb shrimp (26-30 count), shell on
  • 1 tbsp celery salt
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 lemon, cut into wedges

Instructions

    Steam or boil shrimp; drain well.

    Place shrimp in a large paper bag. Add all spices.

    Close bag and shake vigorously to coat shrimp.

    Tear open bag and serve immediately with lemon wedges.
