- 1 lb Dry yellow split peas
- 2 Celery stalks; chop fine
- 1 lg Carrot; chop fine
- 1 md Onion; chop fine
- 2 tb Sweet butter
- 1 tb Curry powder
- 1 tb Lemon juice
- 1 Bay leaf
- 0.5 ts Salt
- 3 Chicken bouillon cubes
- 2 qt Water
- with chopped green pepper. YIELD: 6 servings
