  • 1 lb Dry yellow split peas
  • 2 Celery stalks; chop fine
  • 1 lg Carrot; chop fine
  • 1 md Onion; chop fine
  • 2 tb Sweet butter
  • 1 tb Curry powder
  • 1 tb Lemon juice
  • 1 Bay leaf
  • 0.5 ts Salt
  • 3 Chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 qt Water
  • with chopped green pepper. YIELD: 6 servings
