Crescent Roll Casserole

- 1 pound of ground chuck
- 1 small can of mushrooms, drained
- 1/2 cup of chopped onions
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 – 8 ounce can of tomato sauce
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 – 8 ounce can of crescent dinner rolls
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoons of basil
- 1/4 cup of oregano

Preheat the oven to 370 degrees.

Brown the beef, mushrooms, and the onions and drain.

Add the tomato sauce.

Place the meat mixture into an ungrea sed 8 X 12 inch baking dish.

Sprinkle generously with the shredded cheese.

Separate the dough into 8 triangles.

Mix in a small bowl, the sour cream, basil, and the oregano.

Spread 1 tablespoon of the sour cream mixture onto each triangle.

Loosely roll up each triangle of dough starting at the wide end and arrange on top of the casserole.

Bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
