  • 0.3 cup biscuit mix or flour
  • 1 each -1/2 cup milk or milk & cream
  • 1 each lb. lean ground round

Instructions

    Brown ground meat.

    Pour off and save fat and other liquids.

  3. 3

    Add melted margarine to saved liquids to make 1/3 cup.

  4. 4

    Heat fat, liquids and 1 cup of milk in saucepan until warm.

  5. 5

    Put remaining milk (it must be cold) in jar with lid or blender.

  6. 6

    Add flour and shake or whirl until lump free.

  7. 7

    Stir flour mixture into fat/liquid mixture and saucepan and stir until it boils and thickens.

  8. 8

    Serve over biscuits or toast.
