Cowboy Beef and Beans

- 1 lb ground beef
- 6 strips bacon, chopped
- 1 cup onion, diced
- 1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (15 oz) pork and beans
- 1 can (15 oz) butter beans, drained and rinsed
- 0.5 cup ketchup
- 0.5 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 0.5 tsp garlic powder
- 0.5 tsp salt

Cook bacon in a skillet until crisp; drain on paper towels. Reserve 1 tablespoon drippings.

Brown ground beef with onion in reserved drippings; drain fat.

Combine beef mixture, bacon, kidney beans, pork and beans, butter beans, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, mustard, garlic powder, and salt in slow cooker.

Cover and cook on LOW for 6–8 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.

Stir before serving. Great with cornbread.
