- 2 cup Cornmeal 1 ts Salt
- 1 cup All purpose flour 2 c Buttermilk or sour milk
- 0.5 cup Sugar 3 tb Oil or bacon drippings
- 1 ts Baking soda
Instructions

Combine dry ingredients; blend in milk and oil. Spoon into lightly greased 9" X 5" loaf pan. Let stand 10 minutes. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 mins; let cool 5 mins before removing from pan. Mrs. William LaViolette -----
