Corn Dogs

  • 2/3 cup Aunt Jemima Enriched White Corn Meal
  • 1/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 8 to 10 frankfurters

Instructions

    Combine corn meal, flour and salt.

    Add milk, egg and oil; mix well.

  3. 3

    Insert wooden skewer in one end of each frankfurter.

  4. 4

    Coat with additional flour; dip into corn meal mixture.

  5. 5

    Fry a few at a time in deep hot oil (375°F.) until golden brown.
