Coq Au Vin Pasta

  • 1 0.5 lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 8 count slices cooked bacon, chopped
  • 0.5 cup brandy
  • 12 count whole mushrooms
  • 6 count green onions, diced
  • 1 count bay leaf
  • 2 count cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cup dry white wine
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 0.3 tsp black pepper
  • 2 lb pasta of any shape, cooked

Instructions

    Season ground turkey with salt and pepper. Shape into 1½-inch meatballs and roll in flour to coat.

    In a large skillet, heat butter over medium-high heat. Brown meatballs in batches until fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

    To the same pan, add brandy, parsley, bacon, mushrooms, green onions, bay leaf, garlic, white wine, and thyme. Stir to combine.

    Simmer the sauce for 20 minutes.

    Return meatballs to the pan and heat through.

    Serve meatballs and sauce over cooked pasta.
