- 1 each onion, chopped
- 3 cup Okra, rinsed, trimmed and sliced
- 2 cup Fresh corn (cut from cob)
- 4 each ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 tsp Butter
- 1 tsp Olive oil
- 0.5 tsp Salt
- 0.3 tsp Freshly ground black pepper
- 4 slice of crisp bacon, crumbled
Instructions

Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat; add the olive oil.

Add the onion and saut for a few minutes; then add the okra, corn, tomatoes, salt and pepper.

Stir and cover.

Lower heat and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Before serving, sprinkle with crumbled bacon.

Makes about 6 or 8 servings.
