Company Casserole
A simple, elegant slow cooker casserole of converted rice and cooked chicken with mushrooms, soy sauce, green onions, and slivered almonds.

- 1 0.3 cup raw converted rice
- 0.5 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 2 0.5 cup chicken broth
- 3 cup cooked chicken, cut up
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms, drained (2 cans)
- 6 tbsp soy sauce
- 8 green onions, chopped
- 0.7 cup slivered almonds
Instructions

Mix rice with melted butter in crockpot, stirring to coat thoroughly.

Add chicken broth, chicken, mushrooms, soy sauce, and most of the green onions; stir well.

Cover and cook on LOW 4–6 hours until rice is tender.

Serve sprinkled with remaining green onions and slivered almonds.
